Chatinue werd in zijn sportcarrière voornamelijk door Mexicaanse springruiters uitgebracht. De Chacco Blue-zoon sprong onder meer tot op Grand Prix-niveau onder Mario Onate en Salvador Onate en behaalde later verdienstelijke prestaties onder zowel Luis Alejandro Plascencia als Nicolas Pizarro. Onder Plascencia sprong Chatinue in 2019 ook mee in de CSI5*-wedstrijden van Spruce Meadows, Calgary.Voor een korte periode zat Darragh Kenny in het zadel van Chatinue:'I think Chatinue should make a really excellent breeding stallion, he come from both top breeding lines in his father and mother and I could feel those qualities riding him, he’s very light with lots of scope and great carefulness very brave and a great level mind'
